dude, i have NO idea what to be or what to do for Halloween this year.

and why on earth must it fall on a Friday this year????

OH MAN IF IT WEREN'T SO DARK AND CRAZY I WOULD'VE TOTALLY TAKEN PICTURES.

i love halloween.

i mean--- i LOVE--- *LUUUURRRVVVV* halloween.

every halloween i like to do something cool and/or (preferably and :3) make a new costume. unfortunately, this year (especially the last several months) have been really crazy. all the emotional upheaval, illnesses, new semesters, the dropping of new semesters, work, and nieces... anyway, i never got around to making a new costume, or planning a halloween party.

SO WHEN THE CHURCH KID'S "TRUNK OR TREAT" CAME 'ROUND, I IMMEDIATELY SIGNED UP.

because i was absolutely DETERMINED to do something cool for halloween.

so i dug (....okay. so it doesn't take alot of digging. i love my uniform xD;; ) out my good 'ol Hogwarts Slytherin uniform, dressed my mother up as a witch, crammed the car full of crap.... and went to the church.

AND HAD A REALLY GRAND 'OL TIME.

we had the back of my mother's van open, draped with dark cloths and my "Hogwarts Express 9 3/4" sign and stuff, and then we had a table draped in all kinds of different fabric and these big 'ol candelabras (the wind whipped the flames around and the candles dripped and it was sooooooo cooooooool loooooking!!!!!!) and tons of little candles and lanterns..... and i had a big glass bowl with dry ice and root beer.... (the best part is, i threw this all together very last minute X3 if there's one thing i can do.... IT'S HALLOWEEN.)

i was all decked out in my uniform (seriously, i gotta take some pictures of it sometime--- i'm terribly, terribly proud of it :D) and stirring my potion and (for those who have seen the Harry Potter movies) i was singing the "double double toil and trouble-- fire burn and cauldron bubble-- double double toil and trouble-- SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!!!" song aaaand when kids would come up i'd just go on and on, like, "welcome to the dungeons of Hogwarts, I've been studying potion-making under Professor Snape for several years.... I've been working on this potion all night-- would anyone care to try it out?" blah blah blah....

there was this cute little girl dressed as Hermione and she was waaaaaaaaay excited about the whole Hogwarts Theme... and when she walked up, i yelled, "MUDBLOOD!!" at her and demanded that she return my potion to me at once, and it got her giggling so bad she shot root beer out her nose.... another kid dumped a full pixie stick into his cup and i said, "Tampering with my perfect potion?!" and then pulled out my wand and yelled, "AVADA KEDAVRA!!" which sent lots of root beer up all the other kids noses.... XDDD

seriously--- i love halloween, and i love little kids. i had to defend my slytherin-dom to all the adults lol i have a very well-thought-out reason for why i feel i'm a slytherin ^_~

and then one man (who i've known for a million years and he's awesome lol) spotted me and yelled, "SO WHAT'S THIS ABOUT DUMBLEDORE BEING GAY?!" so i had to defend dumbledore to him.... ohhhhhh, it was so fuuuun!! all the kids kept coming back to my mom's and my spot XD everyone thought our Hogwarts car was the coolest :D it was so very, very fun.

maybe i'll have a garage halloween party again.... i did that a couple years ago with a few friends. maybe i'll hogwarts/dungeon the place out and hand out candy n' stuff. linnet and steven (since you're my local friends X3 heck, hayley and stephanie, too! you're welcome to play with me too, if you want!)--- what do you think? would that be of any interest to you? or would you rather just watch movies and hand out candy like we did last year?

again, i must say--- i love halloween :3 and tonight was a terribly, terribly enjoyable evening.
