so we get there,and it's great. our seats are pretty good, the guys are *AMAZING*. Jemaine was GORGEOUS. Bret's beard was lookin' good, they were wearing COWBOY SHIRTS...

and they performed all the songs i so desperately wanted 8D Jenny, Carol Brown*, Too Many Dicks On The Dance Floor, Sugarlumps**, AND THE BUS DRIVER'S SONG.

i LOVE The Bus Driver's Song! not only is it hilarious and adorable to hear Bret being soooooooooo New Zealand-y, but Jemaine's back ups are gorgeous. it's great, because since they're a comedy group and also they're total weirdos, you can only tell that Jemaine really DOES have an amazing singing voice if you check in really weird places xDD

AFTER WATCHING ALL THIS FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS***, HE IS AND WILL FOREVER BE DAVE.

so we knew he'd be opening for them, and we knew he'd be doing Stand Up, but we had no idea of what to expect xD;;

well, he was hilarious. he's from Fairfax**** so it was really cool because he's all local and stuff~ he made alot of California-based jokes which was of course amazing and made us all very pleased XD made jokes about the Golden Gate Bridge, made jokes about Global Warming, made jokes about the people in places in the US that AREN'T California and how different they are from us, and made great gay marriage jokes.... it was great XD absolutely great. i would love to see him do Stand Up again.

now we get to the exciting part. xD

we couldn't go home.

APPARENTLY the garage we parked at closes at 12am >.>;; we got there at 12:12am. there were these two girls that got stuck with the same problem. we made lots of phone calls, did some complaining, flagged down a very kind police officer who did everything he could to help... eventually, my brother agreed to come out and save us, and the cop took the other two girls to a hotel so that they could wait for the garage to open back up.

soooooooo we didn't get home til after 2am xD;; ya. that was pretty exciting. so we sat by the the theater and watched them load of all the band equipment and tried not to look shifty while we waited for chad to come xD;;

so that was pretty dang exciting.

BUT OTHER THAN THAT THE SHOW WAS AMAZING AND I WOULD GO SEE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. ILU ARJ & FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. <33333333333
